Music

Maggie’s journey in music began when she was 4 years old, with her first lessons in piano. She completed her studies through the Royal Conservatory of Music, finishing with a diploma in piano performance at age 12. Seven years later, she is the youngest Canadian composer whose original music is included in the national Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum. Her work has been heard by over half a million people, and has been described as “incredible” by the internationally celebrated classical duo TwoSet Violin.

She began her Bachelor’s Degree mentored by JUNO Award-winning faculty at age 14, and was enrolled in her Master’s Degree program at 16. Maggie was honoured to have her work selected for presentation at the national 2019 Congress of the Humanities, the Sonic Boom music festival, and twice at the West Coast Composers Symposium by the age of 17.  Most recently, her music written in response to the COVID-19 pandemic was chosen as a winner in the In a Different World composition competition. Maggie composes in a diverse range of genres and is always happy to produce original music for clients; presently, she is completing a film soundtrack and a concert piece. To commission a project, please visit the Contact page.
